Pool Cage Painting begins by power washing the patio enclosures, focusing on removing oxidation, chalking, and loose paint to prepare the surface for a strong paint bond.
Rusted screws can compromise the integrity of your cage over time. Painting over rusted screws doesn't solve the problem—it only delays it. That’s why we replace all screws with Ultra Stainless Steel 304 marine-grade screws.
Next, we take great care to protect your pool area and surroundings. The pool is tarped, the house is covered in plastic, and plants are shielded with canvas. This ensures the paint goes precisely where needed, without any mess.
Before painting the pool cage, we address any trouble spots. This includes sanding, scraping, scrubbing, and replacing damaged metal as needed to ensure a smooth and even finish.
We then apply Pro Industrial DTM Acrylic paint, which is explicitly designed for direct application to metal. This advanced paint technology lasts three times longer than traditional oil- or water-based paints. Using a high-performance sprayer, we apply two coats to ensure complete coverage and a durable bond.
Once the paint is fully cured, we will install your new screens. We use premium screens known for their durability, with a lifespan of 15 to 20 years. Our screens are free of harmful chemicals. While our installation process takes a little longer, the safety and quality are worth the wait.
Modern Pool Cage Painting in Bradenton. Bradenton sits between the Manatee River and Sarasota Bay, so its pool cages get river humidity, bay salt and full sun. West Bradenton, Palma Sola and Bayshore Gardens cages typically need stainless fastener replacement together with the paint; inland neighborhoods such as Lakewood Ranch’s edge, Braden River and the streets off SR 70 more often need oxidation removal and a fresh coat. On every inspection we check the coating, the fasteners, the super gutter, the base plates, the doors and the screen, and we itemize painting, hardware and rescreening separately in the written estimate.
My cage is original from the 1980s. Can it still be painted?
Yes, if the frame is straight and the anchors are sound. Older Bradenton cages usually need the plated screws replaced with stainless as part of the job.
Can you paint white to bronze?
Yes. Bronze is the most requested change in Bradenton because it hides salt residue and matches darker roofs and trim.
How long does the work take?
Two to four days for most homes, a little longer for two-story enclosures or full restorations.
