Restoration Specialists in Venice, Florida
Modern Pool Cage Painting in Venice. On a Venice restoration inspection we grade every part of the enclosure: coating, fasteners, super gutter, base plates and anchors, doors and screen, and we look closely at any member that was repaired after the storms. Venice Island and South Venice cages usually need full hardware replacement; Plantation, Jacaranda and Wellen Park cages typically need paint and a few fasteners. If a frame is bent or the anchors failed, it is a rebuild and we say so.
What a full restoration includes
- A full inspection of the frame, fasteners, super gutter, base plates, doors and screen, with a written, itemized scope
- Replacement of rusted plated screws and bolts with marine-grade stainless steel (rusty screw replacement)
- Complete surface preparation: wash, oxidation removal, sanding, rust conversion and priming
- Two coats of industrial-grade coating on the entire frame in white, bronze or black (see our painting service)
- Gutter, door and hardware repairs, and optional rescreening or panoramic screen upgrade on the following day
Questions Venice homeowners ask us
My insurer wants documentation. Can you help?
Yes. We photograph the oxidation, staining and damage and write a licensed contractor’s estimate you can submit; we cannot promise what the insurer will approve.
Can you restore a cage that already has new screen?
Yes. We protect the new screen and complete the paint and hardware work around it.
How long does a Venice restoration take?
Two to four days for most homes, with rescreening on the day after painting if it is in scope.
